I guess it's like your seeing-eye monkey, except it'll scream at whoever gets too close to you than actually do any good.

...do you need help with your hand? Your other one isn't in the best condition either.

Cutting off your other hand was pretty extreme. You weren't going to try to consider an alternative of maybe saving it?

[Izumo receives a pointed look. What was he going to do with a skinless hand? The pain notwithstanding, infection or some other complication would have done it in in no time.]

D, don't give me that look. They have guns that apparently can heal.

Who knows what else could have been done.

[His eyes darken at the mention of the guns. What a waste it would have been, using one of those on a mere pair of hands.]

I didn't mean it for them to use it on you but there might have been something else available or obtainable here that could have helped.
