It happened overnight. We were at the gun range.

[His even manner of speaking on normal days is helpful now in that he can regulate his volume fairly easily with intuition. He does nevertheless speak with a bit more care than usual.]

[ having a hard timing hearing after sleeping at a gun range sounds extremely valid, at least. ]

Ruler, Vezda, Elsa, Hilda, Yona, and Ange were there as well.

Have you gone out and found anything yet?

There was blood and a handprint at the graveyard. We attempted to exhume evidence from some graves, but turned up emptyhanded.

Empty-handed as there was nothing there? Or empty-handed as in you weren't able to dig far enough down?

The dirt was disturbed; however, there was nothing buried in the ground.

A decoy to hide the real location?

[ hmmmm. ]

I've heard that a body may be buried in the mountain.

[sacredchants]

[ she just SIGHS. ]

Great.

I'll make sure to bring my shovel for tomorrow.

It may be worth revisiting the graveyard as well.

I'm not digging at both locations. Someone can take it for the other.

[He nods. That's fine, as long as someone goes. The graveyard is vast and could do with a reexamination.]

Oh, so I turned in the bloodied yearbook to tiger.

They didn't really have too much to say on it other than you were right about it being linked to their memories. They said we should focus on the similarities between what we've found and what people took from it than the contents itself.

[soulus]

What kind of similarities?

[sacredchants]

[ she'll shrug. ]

I couldn't tell you that one. I haven't been on any of them so I wouldn't know what to compare. Perhaps what experience it was? What it made you all do?

I can't say.

[soulus]

If there is another expedition soon, those similarities may become more apparent.

[sacredchants]

Right, and I know no one comes out of those completely unscathed but I want to go and see what's the deal myself.

If these are linked to the memories of our leaders then there must be something connecting them somehow.

[soulus]

They are connected to the Realm. Do you suspect another variable?

[sacredchants]

They traded their memories to help us out, but at the same time, some of them have been regaining their memories. With more of their memories regain, the clearer picture that they can give of what's happening here.

Of course, that may be due to our contribution with nova except as much nova as we gather, we lose the same amount. We don't have profits; we only break even...

There's something I'm missing and I don't know what that is.

Supposedly, the Leader regains a memory when a member of their team removes another participant.

What?

Where did you hear about that?

[soulus]

Multiple sources have made similar claims.

The flashing of the team icon on Sunday is said to represent two things: that a member has removed another participant, and that the Leader has regained a memory. Furthermore, two members of each team must remove a participant in order to retrieve their dead.
