I think they did, but... It’s like they couldn’t control themselves. There were moments when they could, and they talked to us, but it wasn’t for long before they were trying to kill us again.
Hm, I wouldn't say a puppet, but like they were overwhelmed with... with the desire to kill us? And they were trying to regain control from the inside, but I guess that feeling was too powerful to keep it.
