What's it matter? Regardless of where they came from, they were babies out in the cold snow. And everyone deserves a chance to live, yeah?

I'm sure they didn't come from good circumstances. Babies that come from loving homes don't get left on church doorsteps. But that doesn't matter. What matters is the life they live, and the people they choose to be.

As far as I can remember, it's early April. School's supposed to start in less than a week. So it's summer for you?

Do you know if Shima is from the same time as you?

That's fair. A few months can make a huge difference. It must've been quite a difference too, if Rin ended up going too school at True Cross.

Ehh, it's nothing serious. Rin just has never liked school. I thought he might need some time off before he would try again.

Yeah? What a weird kid. He hated middle school, I wonder why he changed his mind for high school.

I wouldn't know for sure, but he hasn't been expelled. He has gotten into trouble plenty of times.

You say that like he should have been expelled.

[He does not sound surprised when he says that though. Just tired.]
