Agreed. So far, all of our hints have been about our own teams though so I wonder if we're limited in the type of hints we can get. Speaking to Fox, they aren't very open about discussing many things... but we won't know if we don't try.
He's just quiet for a moment and just. Looks at her. She's a mess after her adventure but they're on a deadline. There are things he could say right now but he'll save it for later,)
Do you think you could ask Fox if they know anything about these these roles?
... Really, this late in the game, it's probably in our benefit for all of us to try to ask as much as we can. Whether it's asking together or asking individually and compiling everything as quickly as possible so we can do follow ups.
[ don't look at her too close. he'll notice that she's more of a mess with things being not just because of her adventure. nevertheless she'll put her good hand on her hip. ]
Then why not all of us meet with Fox? I feel like they'll answer me truthfully regardless of what I've asked them, and it wouldn't be fair if they held back just because you were all there with me.
Besides, it would be nice, I think, for Fox to see us all in the same place and working together in earnest.
(He's definitely watching!! Closely. But he won't press.)
Then let's make sure we're on the same page. Share what we know right now as best as we can.
There are six known roles, each one named after a chess piece. The ones that have been confirmed so far are King, Queen, Rook, Bishop, and Knight. They have powers of some sort... but we don't know what.
The sixth piece is the only one my source hasn't been able to find. My source suspected their leader and tried to ask about it but the leader seemed confused and wasn't aware they could give powers to anyone. They figured Pawn would then be factionless; that one extra person that doesn't fit into the teams evenly. But when they found out about our starting number, that's when they asked approached me to help confirm.
As of last week, they suspected Pawn was still alive because they might have been involved with killing Hikaru.

A leader probably didn't order Hikaru's death. Assuming one leader can act at a time.

But I don't mind all of us meeting them together.

Besides, if there is even the smallest bit of truth inside of it, it will give us room to expand and check with others.
