Those were my first thoughts but neither one of them seem to be the "fox" type, do they? I haven't even spoken to Blanca since coming here.

Perhaps, but maybe there's more to them or the pattern. I've haven't spoken to either them very much...

But despite the reminder to not break rules, I've heard it's fine to reveal your team to about one or two people a week and it doesn't count if you reveal yourself to another team member.

And that's what I've heard to, but it seems like some people have ignored that. [ ... ] And considering Fox's condition, I don't plan on doing any more than I absolutely have to.

I've been asking around lately. No one seems to have anymore information about Raven's murder. Other than what happened on Sunday with our devices, there isn't too much to report... maybe a rumor or two that might be worth poking at.

And we need to make sure that no one thinks to go after Fox after everything that Shima said.

What "rumor or two" are you referring to? I feel like there's so much that's both known and not know. [ ... ] You know about the report, right?

Those who are removed might not truly be gone. Even if they're removed, their souls are still in the Realm and with that in mind... it might be possible to bring them back.

(He lets that sit for a moment,)

I haven't really been able to find much about this yet. Only that it might be possible.

(As for the report. He tilts his head,)

Fox mentioned something like that to me as well.

[ she. didn't want to get her hopes too high for that. honestly? the fact that she's been wanting to communicate with them in her own way just makes it feel surreal.

No, not that one, but there was a report that one of the groups that came back bloodied found. It was an ordinary harmless report but...

[ her voice trails a bit. ]

It was written by Fox; they didn't remember writing it, of course, but maybe what's happening now has happened before.

It seems impossible but the Realm doesn't operate on the same sort of logic we're familiar with.

(BUT UH, that's a twist,)

I might have missed it with everything else that was going on but... you're sure? Fox is sure?

Yeah, when the person first showed Fox, they didn't want to tell them or confirm it, but when I spoke to Fox about my clue—they brought this up.

I don't think they'd lie about something like this when they're eager to keep our trust.

Then I'll have to find out more about this report then. (HE SIGHS,) There's so much information lying around.

All of it is connected some how but it's so scattered, it's impossible to make sense of it all or keep up with everything.

Some of that information could be dangerous for others to know so readily. It seems like what they can tell can come at a great risk to them.

[ imagine if word got out about the report with someone who was already sus of fox? bad times for everyone. ]

We should definitely learn more but not recklessly.

[riegan]

Right, Fox is our best resource. I haven't had too much luck with any of the other leaders I've spoken to. So we can't let anything happen to them.

(That much, they can definitely agree on.)

I can ask around. Elsa seems to know a bit and we're staying together this week.

I've only talked to one other leader and I think that was enough for me.

Some of them are definitely easier to deal with than others.

I can't get any read on some of them. I've mostly been talking to Fox, though.

That's really all about I've learned so far. Well, aside from confirming everything that Shima told me.

About the corrupted nova and Fox telling him to remove the source of it?

[ izumo also ""killed"" him during execution. they have the most complicated relationship ever. ]

... It's not the first time I've heard of it. Do you remember the day I kept losing memories?

After someone's nova begins to splinter, it spreads to others... the only way to stop it is to remove the source.

I asked Fox about what was happening but they didn't know anything at the time.

(So Claude found out from somewhere else.)

So, you knew something before Fox knew about it? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

(He's quiet for a moment, considering his answer before replying,)

No, and yes. The first time, I didn't know anything either. The second time, I'd already found out.

After I spoke to Fox the first time, I met someone who knew what was happening and they told me they knew how to stop it. Like Shima, their leader had told them to kill someone that week. Someone was putting a strain on the Realm that would spread to others. They wouldn't have done it if they weren't told told to in the first place.

You're making it sound like you knew the killer we were looking for that week then. [ is this what she's hearing? ] That, in a way, you helped them get away with it.
